Fashion-Focused & Style-Conscious
Lila Walter is currently studying fashion at High Point University and plans to create her own print-heavy clothing line.
Lila Walter, of Alexandria, VA, has always been into fashion. Even at a young age, she proudly wore her own ensembles consisting of pink outfits with cowboy boots and rhinestones. As she got older, she stuck with it and has grown her business based on her passion for fashion.
After getting so many compliments on her unique “cutting edge” style, she decided to share her tastes with others, while also seeing how it could become a business opportunity. Since January 2018 she has been a frequent contributor to Poshmark, the digital marketplace. This is where people throughout the U.S. are free to go online to buy and sell new or used items such as clothing, shoes, and accessories. She started with 4 or 5 winter formal dresses and she now has over 1,200 followers on the site.
In addition to having an innate ability to sell products online and having an obvious eye for fashion, Lila also has a clear business outlook for the path she wants to take going forward. She is currently studying fashion at High Point University. After completing college, she already knows that she plans to continue in the fashion industry. Her ultimate goal is to create her own clothing line, heavily focused on print design, which she will eventually sell in her own stores. The drive behind this entrepreneurial spirit is to help others see themselves as the perfect beings they truly are.
Lila’s favorite part about being involved with the fashion industry is that it’s always changing. She loves being on the cutting edge of new trends and learning about new styles. While traveling, she delights in seeing how trends change depending on the region she’s visiting.
